Flexural behaviour of ambient cured geopolymer concrete beams reinforced with BFRP bars under static and impact loads

چکیده

The applications of GeoPolymer Concrete (GPC) with basalt-fiber-reinforced-polymer (BFRP) reinforcements could be alternative for conventional structural designs Portland Cement reinforced steel bars green and sustainable constructions. Very limited studies, however, have been carried out to investigate the performance GPC beams BFRP subjected static loads, no study their under impact load is available in open literature yet. In this study, ambient-cured were tested loads. Their damage modes, dynamic responses recorded analysed. test results showed that experienced flexural failure mode while combined flexure-shear was observed load. impact-loading further statically loaded examine residual capacities. Additionally, numerical models developed adopting commonly used concrete material model *Mat_072R3 (KCC model) LS-DYNA modified parameters based on testing data. calibrated parametric simulations. increased velocity, beam shifted from flexure-governed punching-shear-governed along rupture longitudinal bars.
